OT, but I was offered tickets for the gig but couldn't be bothered getting off the couch and out into the rain! Any use?

Ah Mate it was amazing!
They went to Hell and formed a band with the AntiChrist, Charlie Chaplin and Coronel Sanders (KFC man) ..
Gig itself was approx 2hours..
Warm upact was really bad though - an American standup """comedian""" Neill Hamburger I think his name was - somehow he thought that telling American jokes to an Irish Audence would go down well..

There was material on mickey Chaney, Courtney Love, The American Flag...in short he got boo'ed off.. As a result there was a 30min gap between him and the D...The low volume backing music was a great improvement...

D s set was built as a story - a combination of the two albums, it was really well done - but for some reason I don't remember hearing "Pick of destiny"..They did all the other classic track instead though.. Even "Karate"..

1st line in this reply really sums it up!...

I was disappointed I couldn't make it to the gig because of work commitments. Sounds better than I even thought It would be. Looks like I missed a good one :(
Consoled myself by renting Nacho Libre. I actually can't make up my mind as to whether I liked or hated it. :?
