Car Valdalism on the street - suggestions?

Hi,

No, not my s2000.....but a mate's car got a few kicks and bangs when parked on a street in Dublin (off Camden St). About 1500 Euro's of damage to it. Unreal...what kind of world are we living in? But, what;s the story with this and insurance. I have heard that there is a gov body who he could claim off for this kind of damage?? I know it takes years to come through though. Could he get it fixed and then claim or whats the story??

Wish there was... I had my rear ariel pulled out of it's socket and scraped along the length of the car at the weekend.

i think that he could only claim off the "govn" if it was someone driver without insurance and only if he didn't have comp, if he has comp cover then he'll have to claim, but fully sure.
