Headlight Laminate peeling...

Postby padidas » Tue Aug 05, 2008 12:23 am

The Laminate on the passenger side headlight is peeling... Anyone know if this may be an NCT Failure?

Or better yet how to get one for under a million euro? :)

Thanks.

Just search for it, there's loads of related posts and guides.
As for the NCT, as long as the the lights are level I can't see there being a problem.

Level and once the lighting lux is up to standard, in other words that theres enough light getting through the lense. But that should be ok I think anyway.

you can give it a try yourself in fixing that .

as long as the headlight allignement is propperly done and they can take a correct reading , there shouldnt be a problem with the NCT .

if not there you go :

emm.. didnt really learn much from that post... :(

Kinda just looking for how exactly i'd go about sorting them out.. i've been told before that short of buying new ones there's not a whole lot I could do?

Anyone any experience in trying this themselves? maybe sanding the laminte off and replacing it somehow???

Here should help (Search is your friend)

Some of the earlier links in this don't work any more, but the BMW and "Mcgon's attempt" are good examples.
