Removing track marks on windscreen?

Postby CJ » Wed Jun 01, 2005 11:52 am

I don't want to hi-jack Kaces post, but in a similar vein, does anyone know if its possible to 'cut' the plastic substrate on the exterior of the windscreen with a view to removing track marks laid down by 11 years of wiper use? This is something thats quite defined on my own windscreen but is really only noticable if your attention is drawn to it up close.

Hehe, A brick. Providing your insurance covers windscreen damage. :D

Of course I would never condone such action.

To repair winscreen cracks the professionals inject a resin, Not sure about your quiry though. It's not an uncommon problem though, I'd suggest giving one of those windscreen places a ring to see what, if anything, they can do.

A lad I know working for a digital tv company dropped a tool while up on a ladder and smashed an FTO's windscreen. Do you want me to find out where he's working today?
