I usually put 31 in the front and 29 in the back, read that somewhere you can put 30/28 or 32/30 which is a bit harder but gives slightly better handling, so I went for the middle ground.

Thats way too high Buddy!

Low profile or not - you're should have considerably less - Out of curiosity why would you have a higher pressure in the rear tyres?

Thats what I used to think, but it goes by the car, not the tyres I'm told by guys in the tyre business.

Really?? That would explain the hard ride then :-D

I've always just read what it said on the tyres - Max Pressure bladibla then deducted a bit to allow for bumps and temperature :-)

I've been doing that since I got my 1st car :) YEARS ago..

Heavier car = higher pressure
Maybe you own armored FTO Muad  but ... seriously it could be dangerous at some condition.

Maximum pressure as printed on the tyre wall is an indication of the MAXIMUM presure before the tyre is no longer structurally safe. Having worked in a tyre garage for a year I know that I have only ever put 45psi into hiace van tyres etc or truck/van tyres. I have never put more than 35 in a car tyre. Seriously. I think 31/29 is ideal for the FTO on 16s or 17s or 18s.
50psi is mental :)

Forgot to reply to this - Have different tyres on front and rear - BF Goodrich G-Force on rear and Hankook k104 on the front..

I'll be letting them down over the weekend :-)
