FTO update

hey all,

just taught id give ye all an update on how my fto is gettin on ........well at the moment is been fitted with a serious sound system in the boot

2x 12" Square Subs (1400W ea)
2x 4way 6x9's (400W ea)
2x 3way 6.5" Coaxials (240W ea)
2x 3way 5.25" Coaxials (180W ea)
1x 1400W 2ch Amp (for subs and boot spkrs)
1x 1000W 4ch Amp (for cabin speakers)
2x 6/7" Sunvisor TV Screens
1x 7" TV screen (in boot)
1x 1.2F Cap
1x DVD/MP3/vcd/CD/Cdr, AMFM head unit

Full powerflow exhuast from cat back

I have a full veilside kit order its on the plane from oz as we speak which should be with me in the next week or so fingers crossed.

The clifford alarm is been installed saturday need that badly

few more bits and pieces planned but dont wanna go on and on

Gal, out of interest, what sort of money is that setting you back? Are you getting a fibreglass install made up? Looking forward to the pics.

hey the sounds are settin me back bout 2500yo yo includes all the boot re trim wires fittings .......etc as for the kit well not 100% sure yet im hoppin to get a full respray on the car so any ideas pf colours gratefully apprecaited

You can physically fit that many speakers and stuff in the boot??

Sounds like a pretty sweet setup. Bit curious what you'll be doing watching telly in the boot though...

When i read that all i could say was wow, thats some serious stuff and by the sounds of it will soon put my Black FTO to shame i am curious as to why you getting the veilside kit from aus when you would have got it from england easier... i must say i look forward to seeing it when it's finished. And did you ever get the leather interiour done that you mentioned a while back.

And as reguards colour after seeing yous in the flesh that time on the nass dual carridgeway i'd say stick with that colour as it looked fantastic anyway.

I know i should have got a gpx or something but i am only 22 after all i was lucky to get insured in what i have .............. Didnt get the re-trim done after all but still thinking about it! Il be down in longford at drag wars on sunday so ye can check out my new sounds if any of ye will be there.

oh and the reason there is a tv goin in the boot is cas i hope to enter the car into shows so its for show purpose only

Is that from Powerflow in Mullingar? What kind of exhaust - I've been thinking of heading down that way for a new exhaust but I'm just not sure if it's worth it when I'm probably gonna sell up in August.....
