V5 different from actual car

Postby Sgt_Major » Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:18 pm

Just looking this morning, and my V5 registration document lists my car as an Automatic transmission, which it is not.

I'm assuming it has been converted at some stage....

Do I need to correct the V5?

You can tell if it was a tip by the vin number.
Take a look here.

Cheers!

I'll do that tonight.

IF it was converted.... do I need to get the V5 changed?

VIN says it's always been a manual.

So the V5 is wrong.

Strange that, but I know a lot of people were being told they had tiptronics when they entered their reg on the site in this post too. Probably linked?
