..Grrrr......

Postby paulkenny » Mon Jan 02, 2006 4:47 pm

Was down in waterford during the week and my car was vandalised in a car park down there. As ye can imagine I'm really pissed off about it ..gaurds were called but not a whole lot they could do as aparently the culprits weren't caught on camera. Mine was the only car that was damaged ...it would really make you consider changing to some run of the mill focus or golf...
Anyway here's a pic of the damage, as you can see they smashed my Mitsi Version-R spoiler and both my wing mirrors (elec folding). If anyone has any suggestions as to where I can get reasonably priced replacements I'd appreciate it.
...Oh yeah ...happy new year everyone :D

omg!! That sucks!

People that do those things should be forced to sell their testicles on eBay.

The Spoiler will be tricky - but you should be able to pick up a set of mirrors from a breakers.

Rory might have some?
if not I know a place in the UK that should have them - let me know if you want their number...They might even have a spolier for you as well..

Really sorry to see that, people who do that should be taken and beaten within an inch of their lives. guards are useless with this kind of vandalisation so the lowlifes who do it know they can get away with it.

Rory (Steelroe) or David (RiceRocketUK) should be able to sort you out, or there's a few breakers that advertise on ebay.co.uk you could try. There's usually some bits and pieces like this on there.

There's a mirror on ebay at the mo - click here.

Nearside which iirc is passenger side...

Not sure about the colour but it does sound like they have a steel silver one:

CHOOSE OF COLOUR WHITE OR DARK GREY

JUST NEED RESPARY TO MATCH COLOUR OF YOUR VEHICLE

sorry to see that! I had my spoiler smashed like that while parked outside my home!

If you are gonna chuck the spoiler ends away I'll buy them if you don't mind. I managed to repair mine...

Thanks for all the help, I might try Helen for the bootlid & spoiler. That will do until I can sort out my own one ...I might try a repair job on it, it doesn't look like it will be too easy to get hold of a replacement.
Cheers,
Paul
