full irish license
no NCB
4 years driving experiece!!
Looking to buy a FTO but heard its hard to get insurance!! any help??

Other than that. If you have a car already you can transfer the insurance Over to the FTO. By law they have to.
If you phone up most insurance comanpies you are right... You'll be lucky to get a quote

Would they not just add on thousands to the policy then!??
And wen it came to renewing the policy Id be in the same position again

You should be able to calculate it when you ring them to transfer over.
I had to pay 88 euro extra for the remainder of 3 months to transfer to my fto from a mirage coupe. Then I got a really good quote on renewal.
So that was 88 extra per quarter and that was that it was on renewal minus a few euro.

Shane is that you? As in, Antos mate? This is Gary.
edit: Just confirmed it is Shane, my brother-in-laws friend. I took him out in the gpx the for a spin the other night and now he wants to buy my old GR, and for only 1k. My bro wants a gpx.

Just avoid all this hassle, and put him as a named driver gary and give him a spare key so he can drive it when ever he has wants

LOL. My spare key stays in the safe. Let him work his way up to a gpx
