Faulty silver dial - don't bother

Postby Muad_dib77 » Mon Nov 06, 2006 10:58 am

Lads I've bought these silver dials - but upon recieving them I'm having 2nd thoughts - I think they'd be a bit ott with my Dial rings, Metal dial surround & needle cups.

If any of yous want them I'll post them to you at what I paid for them 65e (including postage).

If you have a set of white dials you want to replace I'd consider a swap or p/x...

These lads have never been fitted - picturs are taken by the bloke I bought them from - quality of product seems good - dials are nice and thick. No recalibration needed - direct fitment.

Click thumb for slightly bigger pic.

Please note:
1. These are not Metal dials - they're silver in color only.
2. 110mph/180kmph
3. Picture shows dials for tip - Rev dial is the same only wo. the gear selection box.

If there's interest I'll whip out the camera when I come home this evening and take a picture - as it is now the dial are here with me in work.

I will be returning this set to the seller.

Pity about that alright. Looks like a fairly complete kit - I ain't seen the ancillary replacement bits before, they look translucent which might not be a good thing (i.e. white light as opposed to red, yellow etc).

Just recieved it this morning - obviously I didn't have a chance to get it fitted (in work at present)..

Looks like quality peice of kit - comes with a little adjuster yoke so it can be green or blue.. very nice..

Still up for grabs for another 8 hours..

Yeah CJ you're right - been messing about with it all evening..The choices are.

1. Leave current bits in place
or
2. Replace current bits with the new ones and get a shed load of different leds..

Since I have a dial surround I don't think the little black dots look out of place.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow evening - too damn tired to stick it all back in the car at this stage - also still need to do final wireing..Perhaps I'll get this done prior to going to work.. :-s
