engine oil

hey guys quick question. what grade of engine oil to use on the fto. not what you use, what is the oil ment for the car. and also if someone could give me the part number for the oil filter would be great.

There's been a lot of discussion on engine oil over the years, personally I'd go with a modern recommendation over a 20 year old manufactures one.
You'll get the oil filter part number on Camskill.

I used 5 W 40 fully synth over the years in my FTO's - however now they are all getting a bit older I'd be more inclined to run a 10W 40. Buy one of the better brands if you can - oilman on here regularly runs promotions for fuchs/silkolene etc which IMO is a step above Mobil 1 / Castrol edge etc (either of which are still absolutely fine btw).
