Adjustable camber bolts??

Has anyone got adjustable camber bolts fitted? Camskill recommend these are fiited when lowering a car to acheive 1 degree negative camber. How beneficial would this be to turn in, and how much does it change the stance of the car visually? Allways thought the front wheels on the fto look strange when you look down the side profile. i.e. rearwhhels are slightly raked out at bottom (negative camber) front are neutral camber 0 degrees.

No visual change, improved turn in and cornering.

Incidently, KYB shocks mated with lowering springs will give you a degree of negtive camber.

In regards to the KYB shocks, my standard shocks are ok for the moment but would definitely consider these as and when required. Hard to imagine the fto handling improving by much as is already pretty sorted by my estimations. virtually no noticable bodyroll. would be interesting to compare a standard one against one thats sorted so to speak. hint hint Dan

I thought the same until I undertook a full suspension refit a few years ago, the difference in handling was like night and day. More info here. Thats not to day that the FTO handles badly in stock form but some components can get a bit tired after a few years.

for sure mine is a 95. Got some new track rod ends when I ordered the Apex, kill two birds with one stone. My mate whom I bought the car from had already fitted poly bushes to the antiroll bars. I would like strutbraces. Are cusco the only ones available for cars with ABS and TC? as theyre a bit expensive imo. Can you fit a strut brace designed for a non ABS/TC car to one which has ABS/TC as the only differenc I can see in two types is an offset in the bar on ABS/TC type to clear brake fluid reservoir? hard to tell from pictures on Camskill and FTOOC.

In all honesty, I couldn't say (haven't driven that many) but mine is on Tein coilovers and has front, back & underneath braces fitted so she's pretty sorted.

Very generous offer, I'll hold you to that. Coilovers are the mutts nuts! I think it would be fair to say your car is pretty sorted all over Bernard, your a hard act to follow
If I remeber correctly Laura promised me a spin in her car, when I was debating about changing to a gpvr manual or a scooby Decided on makin the most of my gpx tip considering the credit crunch an all, hence the suspension and brake upgrades

I have adjustable camber bolts on mine, and it needed the camber adjusting bolts to get the setup right after putting on Apex springs and KYB shocks as it adjusted it a bit off as CJ mentioned. HOWEVER, one of them sheared on me one day, and I've lost a bit of faith in them, so I have a set of camber-adjustable top mounts I'm going to fit (one of these days). Downside will be a slightly harder ride apparently, but up side will hopefully be spot on adjustment. I think the ones I got were HKS (from guy on ftooc).
