Tyre Size and Evo Enkeis

Postby Muad_dib77 » Sun Oct 18, 2009 11:37 pm

Hi Lads.. I know a few of you have these on your FTOs so I thought I'd ask..

I have a set with 235width on them..and I'm going sticking them on as is..Was going to get them refurbed 1st but sadly I've spent WAAAAY too much money recently, so refurb will have to wait till spring-ish..

Now I'm not entirely confident that I'll be able to do any turning whatsosever with such wide tyres under the front arches..I have removed the innerlining altogether so if there's rubbing it'll be on the metal bit.. What dimensions are the rest of yous running with the enkeis?

Pretty sure they'll fit in the rear arches...

I have 235, 40s on mine.
Still have the arch liners too although there is some rubbing on full lock (car's pretty low too).

Bottom line, you'll be grand.

I wouldn't to be honest, don't forget that extra 5% is of 235mm... maybe on the back.
My car's is pretty low but I'm getting some rubbing with 40s, 235/45 is standard evo size.
