Bad start

Postby 99casst » Sun Jun 27, 2010 10:34 pm

Hello guys basically the issue I'm having is start the car in morning cuts strait out unless u hold revs for 15-30 seconds odd . When it been driven 100% fine but if. Turn the car of and back on again it will rev then almost cut out then settle to normall position. This all started after changing the alternator belt witch seems far to big and just tensions. The car also seems if it has become noisey from lifters and seems bit more louder from engine I do belive this may be caused from stepper but has been cleaned and seem no different thank u tom

Replace the stepper motor with a new one, its the most likely cause.
