black bare-arse in carrickonshannon

Postby mick_dont_surf » Wed Jul 19, 2006 11:20 am

hows that of a headline
saw a nice 95 black gpx( i think no stickers) it was manual so must be
aftermarket alloys, chrome petrol yoke, and a wee ariel up on the left hand side.
nice looking car.
it opens in my mind the debate weather or not to go bare arsed
it looks good in the black
not sure about the silver

MfFTO's a bit late - away all week with work.

However - any excuse to post up a couple of pics.
And its staying spoilerless - JayVR just bought the Hiro off me.

im torn between the two
personally, i think mine will look
better without the spoiler, its a lot sleeker looking
but i dont have the money and
cant really be arsed with the hastle of taking it off.
is it much work?????????

Taking the spoiler off is easy - filling the holes and then matching the paint is best left to a bodyshop. I took off the rear boot lock as well to clean up the back as much as possible.

However - spoilerless only really suits a lowered FTO - if you can add side skirts and a front splitter to that then it looks even better again.

It needs to look PHAT to carry off the spoilerless look - otherwise you're better off switching to a Version R spoiler from the standard to sharpen up the looks.
