The only one I've seen are the standard 2 plates either side the radio is screwed onto...

I know this sounds a bit stupid but....
Can anyone tell me the exact spec of screws used for attaching
the 2 plates used to mount a stereo.
I've got the plates but no screws and I've had problems before ruining threads by using slightly wrong screws so if anyone can tell me the exact type that I need it would be appreciated.
-Cheers...

No idea of the specs of screws, but any car radio sales place should be able to supply some suitable screws handy enough.

cant remember exactly, but i also got cage with no screws, as far as i can remember the screws were standard ISO metric,
sizes were either 6mmx 1.0pitch or 8mmx1.25pitch,
they were very short only 10mm or 12mm long

get both sizes just in case and use stainless
