Its a bit OTT - and doesn't suit a red FTO. MAYBE a silver but it'd still be a stretch. Spend the money on KYB dampers and Eibach/Apex springs instead.

NO.Two tone cars went out in the late 70's early 80's. I understand the CF bonnet thing, and of course you command the repect of all the ricers on the road, however, to the majority of the population it just looks like you picked up a black bonnet in a scrap yard (to repace the one you damaged in a crash) and couldn't afford to get it reprayed. If you wanted to paint something why not paint the bonnet red?
You will only add to the frankenstein look by painting the upper half black.
This mod will add no value (acually it will take form the cars value), take form the cars esthetics, and make, what is a niche car, even more difficult to sell when the time comes. There are so many other enjoyment/value -add mods that you could do, I wouldn't even know where to begin.

There's something cool looking about it all right, in the same way those cars you cook up in Need For Speed look cool. Take them to the real world though and they just look hilarious and ridiculous.

Good point - what looks the dogs danglies on GT4 or Forza does not translate back into the real world.

Ms Enzo - I can see what you are trying to do but the CF look on an FTO is best just left at bonnet and boot/spoiler. At a stretch maybe do the front pillars ala the new GTR -

hmmmm!!! the thing that started it cause i have the carbon bonnet, was told (on here) not to waste my money on a carbon spoiler! cant find a carbon boot or splitter!

just think its summit a bit different to do with the car!

As some of ye know the reason i got the CF bonnet was cause my other one popped open while drivin and in the process damaged the roof (which me need to be resprayed) and i i really dont wanna do my roof red cause it wont match the old paint!

as for the value of the car? that doesnt bother me! i dont plan on selling this car! ill drive her till she dies! and even IF i was to sell i wouldnt care how much a get cause i got a SAVAGE deal on the car in the first place (gotta love buyin from family!)

i dunno! i think its pretty funky but i dunno is it just the picture! i cant decide if id like to see that everyday but at same time i do REALLY like it!! :?

Nope, pic looks cool under studio lighting but for outdoor... It just looks like it doesn't know what it wants to be and is that a reflection on the owner/driver? NOI!
