So say for the example below of an add in the buyandsell, is it possible that these would not fit the fto at all? Not sure how it works with those sizes etc.
Wolfrace Katana Alloys.5 spoke, 17"", with new low profile tyres, no dents or scratches, cost #800, quick sale needed, #400
Cheers
No probs... it is very possible that they would not fit the FTO, you'd need to check the PCD + offset, possibly bore too to be sure.
Do a search on google for "alloy wheel fitment guide" or something similar and you'll get lots of matches, e.g.
http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/fitmentguide.asp which shows the fitment for each type of car.
For those ones your best bet would be to ask the guy for the PCD, but if he doesn't have that info you could find out what car they came off, and what year the car was, and then look up a fitment guide. The year is important as for example the 200SX has the same fitment as the FTO after 1994, but not beforehand. Ideally try putting one on your car when you go to buy them if they do seem like a match from talking to him over the phone.
