Im looking for a set of white dials for my gpx
its already converted from kmh to mph but the speedo only goes up to 120 mph so its nearly impossible to find dials
so is it possible to replace with 180mph dials will the speedo read with the proper speed or do i have to fit a converter.
if so how hard is a converter to fit

yeh i should have mentioned mines a 95 2.0 gpx triptronic mivec
both of those sites you mentioned the dials look great.
still a bit confused about the speedo reading 120mph.
can i stick 180mph dials in place of the 120mph dials or will this mess up the speedo reading cheers....

you must just have a different dial face over the original clock. the replacement dials will work, but the big mph readout will be the speed you're doing in KM's

Are you in Ireland or the UK

If you're in the UK you can get a chip to convert the readout on the new dial faces to mph.

I got dials for my GPX tip from ebay.

yeh im in N Ireland thanks for your reply. The speedo face i have a the moment isnt a stick on its screwed on if ya know what i mean. Its been converted from kmh to mph but it only goes to 120mph. So if i replace it with a 180mph white dial face will the speedo read correct. At the minute the 120 mph face seems to be about 5mph out....
Example ( If im doing 40mph its really only doing 34/35 mph if you know what i mean) Not a good thing up north with the amount of cameras around. Or do you think i should start from scratch and stick a new converter in it with a 180mph face on

You'd have to get a different convertor so it converts to the 120 dial or 180 dial, the dial is just a bit of plastic so just putting that on isn't going to change where the needle points.

The one you have on at the moment sounds wrong anyway so prob no harm replacing it either way.

Btw, what profile are your tyres? Having a wrong rolling radius can put your speedo off a bit.

speedos usually over state the speed. I have bigger than normal wheels on mine, and it makes the speedo reading perfect.
