Old exhaust !

Postby Mustang » Tue Apr 17, 2007 4:10 pm

I replaced the exhaust on my GPX from cat back. This consists of 3 sections, straight run from cat, middle section and back box.
The middle section is being dumped, there may be some life left in the other parts, and may be of some use to another owner.. anybody interested?

Yes! Mine has more holes than a swiss cheese... I need something to tide me over for a bit...

How much?

Maud, the straight run is in resonably good nick. The back box is ok but, the flange on the back box (where it connects to the centre section) has been removed. So not a simple swap over. So you would need to probably remove the flange from the existing centre section, and either weld the two together or more likely use a sleeve to join the two.
If you are having exhaust issues it's more than likely the centre section -can't help you there. Do you know what part of the exhaust is giving trouble?
As it's of limited use I didn't really have any price in mind, really wanted to see if anyone was interested. If you are still interested we can talk.

cat back system? I have a cat back 5zigen system, but was thinking about a cat replacement pipe. Looks handy enough to replace inand out for NCT time... don't want anything too loud though and I see camskill have a lovely cat replacement box by Milltech. Anyone have it? looks sweet. I'll leave it a few months though till my CC recovers from the other little bits I got recently.
