i called my mate to see what hee was doing and asked if he could help out so he poped round to see what needs doing. by the time he had come round i had drilled the rest of the top spot welds out but coundnt get to the bottem ones.
so i let him lose with the angle grinder

cut the brakets in half then bent them hit them with a hammer chisel them ie hammer and skrodriver and they where soon off
tidied it up then prepted it for painting
primed it
then painted it
not a bad job i think considering i had to spray around the wire
