No activity as such Lucian, mainly driving on scenic routes and getting photos.

Just noticed there's a small game on in Croke Park that day. Anyone else interested in aiming to be in a suitable pub for 5/5:30?

Tom, are you planning on going on the dry or staying overnight?

I thought an overnight was pretty much ruled out earlier? TBH, I'm quite happy to stay on the dry anyway.

If there's enough interest an overnight would definitely be do-able, it wouldn't affect the 'mini-meeters' who don't want to make a weekend of it.
I only ruled out a 2 day because I hadn't organized doing an activity and I didn't expect the response to be as big as it has been.
It's yeer meet, the meet is still weeks away, we don't have to stick to anything...

Depending on interest levels, the option of an overnighter would be worth considering. Personally, I'd be up for an overnigher wih a view to heading back in the morning, anyone else?

Since I'm new to the FTO club I would love to be at the meet on the 28th but I normally work Saturdays. I see what I can do. I'll try to get if off. I won't know until the week before.
There's a big park in Wexford called The JFK Arboretum. It should be good for photos and stretching the legs a bit.
Here's a link for it.

There's really old Abbey's and other cultural things down that way that would be good for photos.

There doesn't seem to be much uptake on the overnighter idea, any interested parties should put their name down ASAP.
Itinerary to be announced in the next few days. expect a similar route to that mentioned on Page 1 of this thread.
If there are enough overnighter people, we could go further west towards Waterford on the Saturday evening, making for some nice driving on the Sunday.

I'm might be up for the overnighter too, but it'll be later in the week before I can confirm this.
