Either he's just had his spoiler nicked or he's been very lazy and not filled the holes in since removing it. Either way, he better fill em quick..................... :lol:

Makes me laugh everytime an insurance company asks is it an import. Technically every car is an import, what irish manufacturers have we got, unless its a DMC 12 you're trying to insure and I've never seen one of those! Plus they were almost all left hand drives anyway werent they only for about 20 i tihnk.

this one belongs to a romanian fella from uk , who travelled home for Christmas in his P&J.
Unfortunately he got hit by an italian guy driving a Fiat Punto (tourist) very close to his home town.

now the car lies in a back yard in Romania and its for sale 1500eur.
Not many people interested though ( you can understand why)

the car it's a Manual GR with 83k kms on the clock,
poor fella had just full serviced the car before the road trip.

so there are 5 spotted FTO's back home.

6. yellow pre-facelift spotted in Bucharest by a friend .(dont have any other details so far , he couldnt tell if it was a respray or original colour) - imagine a special edition Fto there .probably UK numberplates

i am seriously thinking to set up a website . maybe that would be helpfull for the growing comunity back home. i know 2 romanian FTO owners here in ireland and i might convert one more in the following weeks.

well i just keep an eye out on the motor forums , bit of searching here and there .. friends spotting them and so on ...
some pics were taken from some romanian sites where they were spotted as ''cool cars''.
the model is not well known there and does a bit of head turning ..hell you see heads turning in here so ..!! :lol:

it's a long shot but i'll try to make some web page for the lads who own fto's in that part of the world somehow.see if there is any interest or if i can gather few lads
