Heater Matrix

Postby Kace » Mon Aug 20, 2007 5:39 pm

I have just had the dreaded heater matrix issue and need to replace the unit.

I see that DIY is of course possible and takes a couple of hours.

Out of interest, has anyone enlisted Paul Nolan to perform this surgery for them and if so what sort of bobs are we talking ?

I presume also that once the unit is installed, it needs to go to an aircon guy for regassing ?

Thanks
K

Not another one :(

Re Paul Nolan, pm The Bull, I believe he may be going down that route.

No regassing required, a/c and cooling completely seperate systems.

Yeah - looks like the average Heater Matrix lifespan is about 10-12 years then.
