CarCraft Have Moved

Postby JD » Sat Aug 23, 2008 9:25 am

Hi All,

Just to let you Dubs know that CarCraft have moved and they are now doing more than they used to, e.g. they do a full bumper respray for €160. That sounds OK to me, sometimes it's hard to get somewhere to do a small job. The wife is getting that done on her Lancer in a couple of weeks so I'll let you know how good a job they do & post some before & After pics.

Heres their website and some of their current price list:

www.carcraft.ie

Corner Bumper Scuff: €99
Cracked Bumper: €150
Full Bumper Respray: €160 )per bumper)
Scratched Door/Wing or Quarter Panel: €150
Dented Door/Wing or Quarter Panel: €170
Wing Mirror Casing: €45 (per mirror)

Ohhhhhh I miss my FTO!!!!!!

MFFTO - don't suppose you'd know how much Dermot would charge for a front bumper respray on a facelift? Or what am I roughly looking at price wise and how long will the car be in the garage?

Anyone have it done? Does the rest of the car colour look off though after?

€200-€300 I'd say - but at least you'll know it'll be done right - he always gets the paint match right.

Couple of days max for a front bumper - you'll also prob want him to sort the bonnet (its usually as badly affected for stone chips) & blend the front wings.

Big change from the FTO then. Very big & comfortable couch on wheels.
Serious value for money as a 2nd hand proposition.

Ah now don't be saying that... that's what I was afraid of... (you're beginning to sound like him now btw :) )

Do I have to get that done as well?
