Black Mesh or not?

Postby Dave » Fri Oct 14, 2005 9:14 am

Right, I'm sorting out fitting my bumper so i want to get all the parts together first, i've one set of lights and waiting on Kev to find an indicator with halo

But now it's decision time, i've got the facelift bozz to go on but i've to source some mesh.

Black or the usual??

Still trying to sort out one myself  , hoping the guy I've bought the latest possibility off has sent it. My trip has been extended to 2 weeks now though so it'll be after that before I get any more done with it, unless I find something interesting over.

Anyway, the mesh! The bozz mesh area is pretty big, and your car is wine (whats the proper name again?), plus there's the carbon bonnet... I'd say go for the black mesh definately.

Why not buy silver mesh, if you don't like it, paint it black?

I'm inclined to think black, to match the cf bonnet

Or buy the black, and then paint it silver if you don't like it? :P

CF bonnett - big mesh area - has to be black - now get those wheels powder coated black as well to complete the look. 8)

I had a black mesh which I have since painted A34 silver to match the car but I wouldn't fancy a silver mesh on a bozz.

I went for black as it would be something different a bit like my gold mesh

Whichever one you get you can spray it afterwards, I like the black myself so I sprayed mine and it still looks great.

Get the silver... If you don't like it spray it..

I'd be inclined to think that the black mesh will look nicer as you don't really have any other exterior parts that are silver.
