Angry/Upset....

Postby Uncle B » Sat Jun 28, 2008 5:12 am

Went out tonight, wasn't drinking so drove in.
Dropped friends home after, leaving car to go into house, noticed bumper has taken a huge smack and is bent out of shape quite a bit. Rear plate crumpled.

Have the car less then a week... ****ing a**holes...

On a different note if anyone has a spare/for sale rear Steel Silver (A34) preface lift bumper I'd be interested. Will more than likely just pop out (*prays*) but im just seeing whats about if it still looks muck... I have an unpaited front bumper if anyone wants to swap.

Been to guards etc. very sympathetic. No CCTV though, nothing they can do...

Tough luck, anytime I drive in to town and not drinking I spend half the night worrying so I know what you mean, always park in the multi storys now, costs 3 euro from about 8 to 1 so I dont mind it for the peace of mind.
I'm sure you'll get a bumper no bother for it though.

Hmm coulda sworn I replied but anyway....

It popped out! Just had to angle grind some of the support bar behind the bumper so I could shape it. Looks fine now, just have to push the boot panel out a bit. Very little paintwork damage done so I'm a happy camper.
Definitely needs a new plate now though!

Thanks for all the posts and PM's, appreciate it.

Know how to get at the light clusters too so I suppose it was good experience.

Thanks again.

So sorry about that... That is soo ghey...

I honestly dont think I could leave my car in the city - anywhere, I wouldn't enjoy my night fretting anyway. I won't even leave it parked at night in my home town! I spend most of the day at work looking out at it to see if it's okay sure...

Martin, I thought you said this paranoia would cease?!

Sorry to hear that uncle b... good to hear it popped out ok though!

I have only very specific spots I'll leave my car parked in town, especially at night, and always at the end of a row at work (one less ..... to bang their door off my car).

Yeah, I always park beside a kerbed flowerbed/pillar in a multistorey or something for the same principle.
