Head lights/front fogs. Just wondering

Hi guys. I bought my mivec in Scotland 3years ago now. Never really had any probs but always wondered about something. As the fto does not have city lights not sure why they don't need them in Japan. Buy as we need them in uk and Ireland the last owner got round this by taking the front fog lights and drilling a small hold up though the plastic on the front unit sealing them in so these are not my city lights. Is this the way every fto is done as when i look at any pic of other ftos its always hard to see if this is done. Cheers.

Mine has these lights in the fog clusters as standard - pre facelift, although I have indeed heard of FTOs without them.

The face lift model must come as standard then. Pre face lift not. Just wondered. Does me no hurt like. Load of ball side lights anyways.

I think Kace was just saying that the pre-face lift ones have them as standard. I'm pretty sure my first 2 FTOs (both pre-face lift) had "city" lights.

I have the same thing on mine,no sidelights,its a 96 gpx with a facelift front bumper,have foglights,H.I.D Headlights and normal high beam,just wondering is this going to be an issue when i bring it for NCT?

No not an issue.

Bear in mid that your car has probably done a good many NCTs already and has lived to tell the tale.
