Awful looking yoke, made popular by Nissan Micras in the late 80's early 90's. completely ruins the lines at the back.

Thats a rotten yoke. But look at the ad, 'extremely rare and sought after', ya right. One of the defining pieces of the FTO is the rear lights and the back of it, why would you mess that up. I wouldnt even put project f's on mine as I think they take away one of the most distinctive features of our cars.

He's not far off on the rarity side, this factory option doesn't come up for auction too often. I'm not a fan of this add-on but in its defence, it looks better in the flesh.

It also means that the little indentation that says FTO to the left of the right rear light in all our cars isnt there, its replaced by black lettering on the strip.

The symmetry aficionados among us (guilty!) might consider this a plus point, personal taste et al.

You still have the standard exhaust though...

Not very symetrical!

I'm all for symmetry, like the quads make the rear look great in my eyes, as they even the rear up. But I think the indentation is something that doesnt throw the symmetry off for me. Dont know why.
Its like they're putting the back end of an Eclipse on the FTO, or trying to make it like that, doesnt do it for me. Can it be changed back if one was got like that? Is it just a clip on or what is it?

Aye, I guess you take that for granted and put your symmetrical ties to one side when it comes to the exhaust. A twin exhaust does look the part on an FTO (one of the reasons why I like the standard rear profile of the RX-8).
