FTO-Ireland feature in this month's MIJ

Postby Sebastian » Mon Jul 06, 2009 8:49 am

Meet with Andrew Warner( the feature editor/photographer) yesterday @ Clasic Car Show and had a small chat.
He told me that the ''Rare Japanese Metal Meet'' that we had with the Cappuccino's and Sera's is featured in this month's MIJ.
So keep an eye out , should be out this week .

A big thank you for mentioning the clubs there.

Picked one up in Easons in Ballincollig shopping centre yesterday.

Not a bad write up, we'll have to get some more features like that!

Picked up a copy last week, great piece in terms of raising awareness etc. Pity the clubs, organisers or website addresses didn't get a mention.

Basically a brief description of the 3 models present, and comment on the wide variety and colours of FTOs present.

Would've been nice if we had plugged the site or contributed to the article, but that's another story.

Yea I think an invite should definitely be extended to the next big meet anyway, would be nice if the descrptions weren't so brief/they had a chat with the owners etc.

Agreed. He did a bit of research on the FTO, which was reflected. Pity no mention of the club or site.
