But then you'd only get to speak to one of us as opposed to having our collective knowledge?

The forum is designed to build a database of FTO knowledge - a typed thread may help someone else someday who is having a similar problem.

Whats the synopsis?

Well if you have no joy then don't hesitate to ask a question on here.

We're working on the support call centre but CJ's going to have to take the thumb out!

When you turn it the first click are you getting any lights at all?

When you turn it the second click I presume your are getting dims and heads together?

Have you changed bulbs or wiring recently?

Are your front foglights working OK?

Have you traced the wires back from the lamp units - the likelyhood here is that you are getting a wire touching off another - if this is the case just separate them using electrical tape.

All bulbs are working fine - so (stating the bleedin obvious) it has to be a wiring problem.

Here's a crazy thought - does the little blue (full beam) lamp on the dash come on?

Agreed, could be the switch mechanism or wires could have melted in the stalk and are touching.
