Fitting gearbox cable bracket

Postby cullen5998 » Sun Jul 25, 2010 2:05 pm

I changed my gearbox oil yesterday and im still having problems selecting reverse. Is this an easy job to do? Has anyone here done it themselves or is it a garage job.

Just to add tot his, I changed my own cable bracket last week.

Took about 90mins all in.

Battery out.
Battery tray out
Battery tray bracket out
two bolts on the cable bracket on top of the gearbox
two clips in the bracket holding the cables in place.

then reverse order everything back in.
