Platinum/iridium spark plug numbers?

Postby Mustang » Fri Feb 16, 2007 11:53 am

I am looking for manufacturer and part numbers for platinum or iridium spark plugs for the 6A12MIVEC engine? Would like to put the same long life plugs all round. Would also like to shop around before purchasing.
The plugs on camskill look a bit pricey for my tastes.
From this post it looks like Denso Iridium IK22 are suitable for the 6A12 Mivec engine front and rear bank, can someone confrim, CJ?
Any other options out there? NGK?

I put IK22's on both banks - excellent plugs - wouldn't consider any other option on an FTO.

Go with the IK22s Mustang, they're good excellent as MfZed says. Platinums are a small steip below the Iridiums in terms of performance but they'll last forever see pics old old and new here.

No Biggie :-) Enjoy..

Mine are still running smooth - and the price doesn't compare to what you'd have paid for something similar is say Hellfords..
