Tyres,fitting, on a budjet

Postby finers » Sun Nov 15, 2009 6:07 pm

Hey, it's that time again when i have to get new tyres,

I'm considering getting the Eagle F1's again as im very happy with them,

My question is while im ordering i'm going to get two tyres for a friends car,
they want them as cheap as possible but with decent performance,
the cars running 215/45/17

Anyone fit any of the 'cheaper' tyres to there fto and and comments on them

Heres the list available from camskill, I've looked up mixed reviews about hankook s1's,
Budjet is about £55 per tyre.

heres the list available from camskill.

Any advice would be great on these lower end tyres.
And did someone mention before theres a place in Malahide that fits them on the chearp?

Camskill charge delivery per 2 tyres, so there's no saving on postage ordering more tyres.

I'd recommend Toyo Proxes if you don't wanna pay F1 prices, I can't fault mine TBH.

Malahide tyres quoted me €15 per corner - Aido got them done there cheaper somehow.
Pat Clifford in Clontarf also does them no problem for €15 a corner - I went here.

Haven't seen anyone do fitting/balancing any cheaper than this anywhere.

Let us know how much they charge you - also mention that you think someone in FTO-Ireland got them done for less than €15 per corner.

That time I was just getting tracking done. I wasn't getting tyres fitted. I just asked him how much it was to get tyres fitted and he said €5. He must have misunderstood me. Maybe that was for if I ordered tyres off him. Don't know really :?
