How'd you find that you git? I obviuosly gave too much detail and you did a search DAMN. Get them off before someone see's it and decides to buy it. I'd go mad if I miss out on another (missed CJ's old one last week).

Appreciate that thanks. Honestly was raging when I seen CJ's/adrian/robs old one had gone. Dont want to miss another one by drawing attention to it. Its one of those that when you see it (even in the pic) you just say WOW. Well I did anyway and the spec is also really good. What do you think of it? I know its hard to tell by a pic but it looks like a nice one.

It does look well - my personal preference would be for a manual mivec rather than Tiptronic but at least its a mivec.

Like - HKS front bumper, FRP vented bonnet, rims, dials, Cat 2 alarm with remote start and recent maintenance.

Dislike - gimicky stuff like the dual intake and oil catch can, add-on rear foglight, fogged up indicators and laquer peeling on the headlights (not a biggy but it might help get a couple of quid off).

A LOT more to like than dislike - overall a lot of FTO for the money - I would recommend you get the RAC/AA to have a look over it though - pictures will only tell part of the story.

On the face of it - a very good buy.

God bless your eye sight I didn't notice that. Its not that big of a concern to be honest, if needed I'l replace them. I'm sure steelroe would have some going. Might be keeping my own for scrapping dependng on how the insurance see it. Want 600 at the mo I'm not happy with that seeing if I can bargain.

Don't worry too much about the peeling headlights, there's an easy fix.

Have a search and you'll find a few guides here.

He was a bit worried when I was on to him. Thought I was one of those internet scams, he's had a few on according to himself. I convinced him I'm genuine, luckily. Just hope its worth the effort when I get over there.

I was chattng to him since. I posted asking for info on a mechanic to check out the car. Some members pointed out we'd posted and they put 2 and 2 together realising we were talking about each other. I've flights booked and am heading over on tuesday 10th to have a look. I'm bringing my cousin (a mechanic) to check it out. Seems like a nice fella and the car looks well maintained. Time will tell :? All going well I'l be back over within a week to collect the car. Dont want to pay a last minute ferry as its 3 times the price (£180) if I take the car on the day. Or book something and then not need it in the end. Its cheaper to book a cheap flight less than 30 all in with ryanair and book the ferry a week in advance £60. Its tough times we're living in every cent counts. :D

Tehehehe that's quite funny! He's obviously cautious that he's not getting conned somehow.

Karlf - did you check the prices with IrishFerries.com I booked my ferry ticket the day before and it came to 110gbp.

I checked Irish Ferries, P+O, and Stenna Line from Holyhead and Liverpool. It was cheaper to do it in two trips (if needed) than book return flights and the boat and not need one or the other in the end. Its a bit silly but thats just how it worked out as there are great sales on at the minute with aer lingus and ryanair. I looked at the differnt ways of doing it and how much it would cost. Its better anyway as I'l have definate dates to work off rather than if's and maybe's. If I am taking the car it also gives me a week to get everything organised this end, like VRT, booking NCT, changing Insurance etc. And if you knew how crap I am at organising things like that you'd know why I need a weeks notice.
