What EVO model are you getting the brakes from? EVO IV or earlier brakes won't be better than GPX's. EVO VI onwards will be very messy to fit.

Its a mistake to think that because its a Mitsi that the brakes will be similar - you will need customised brackets fabricated, different disks and hoses - all to fit a 2nd hand set of brakes. Plus you need to make sure your wheels will go back on - you'll need at least 17's with excellent clearance - many 17's will still rub.

Dave here has a set of 4pot brembos that would be a better fit - try sending him a PM.

My mechanic (in Limerick) has worked on several FTO's - picked up my car today and he was fitting a set of 4 pots to another car.

Joe - 087 9786243 - He works in a main dealership but all the work he does on my car (and mates) is from home where he has a ramp. He's quite busy at the moment but he may be able to help - there would be a lot of work involved though in fitting these - may work out cheaper in the long run to buy a set of 4pots designed for the FTO.

Hi Kenc, welcome to the site!

Funkystyling(.co.uk) I think it is do some 4+ pot brake kits for the FTO, Brembo & a couple of others I think. Complete sets - calipers, bigger discs, pads, steel braided hose, etc.

If you search for brembo on the ftooc.org forums using Evo Brembos on an FTO comes up a good few times. The main problem seems to be the brackets you'd have to make up to make them fit are going to have to be very narrow, and thus probably not very strong where it needs to be.
