Paul Nolan - moving premises

For those of you in and around Dublin that use Paul Nolan for mechanical work, note that he will be moving to bigger premises in Clonshaugh Industrial Estate (Port Tunnel Business Park) next week. Positive news all around I reckon, its good to see a decent mechanic moving onwards and upwards.

Absolute class! Paul does stellar work and last I visited his "workshop" it was PACKED!.

I wonder if thats his reason for quoting an FTO Ireland member 600 euro for a tappet change?
Maybe he needs to cover the costs of his new place.

My guess is that he hasn't done the tappets job on a non MIVEC before and doesn't know what it would entail.

Paul is a very sound guy , always helped with advice and always performed a top notch job .
He didnt change the tappets in the non mivec models so i presume he's not sure of the work involved

he always quoted me lower than any other mechanics i went to and never had a problem whatsoever with the work he did on the car .he even charged me less than what initial deal was and he's really involved into the FTO scene .

i'd use him again anytime

I agree totally, sound guy regarding the price going up because of the relocation, well my friend had a problem with her car, it kept cutting out on low revs, not due to the stepper as it was a polo:D, well anyway i was up to my eyes in work so i recommended Paul she went over and and he charged her nothing think he had to clean the fuel filter didn't get into details, well she gave him 30 euros as a thanks, but hey what a sound guy:D,, i would agree that he just doesn't know the work involved witht he tappets im sure if you called him up he would beat the other prices you got quoted.
