lowering springs

Postby power » Mon Mar 03, 2008 7:48 pm

hey all, i ordered in a set of lowering springs from jd autoparts in blanchardstown, fella there said he could get me a set for €170 from cobra. I got a phone call from him today saying cobra don't do springs for the fto so he went and got a set from white line, he reckons they are a better make but come at a more expensive cost of about €220. i already gave him a €50 deposit when i ordered them. i don't know too much about the different brands and just wanted to check if this sounds right? cheers for any help

I've heard the name White Line, but don't know much about them.

Here's White Line lowering springs from Hostile Performance - click here

They're priced £166 for the full kit, so €220 sounds ok.

I've Apex springs on mine, good few here do too, they work well and help the car stance 'cos they lower the front a bit more than the back (40 vs 25mm iirc).

Hey Power..

First off - I love the avatar!

I spotted the whiteline springs just after I'd lowered my own FTO - at the time the price was around 250e as far as I remember.. so 220e ish doesn't sound too bad.

I run Apex springs myself.
