Rear brakes

Postby finers » Wed Oct 01, 2008 12:02 am

I noticed that one side of the back rear breaks is wearing much faster then the other side,, thought the pads needed changing but it's only that one that was gone!, replaced them and noticing that the discs on that side are getting very hot, after driving you can even notice the heat if you put your hand close to the disc,, anyone have any ideas how i can adjust this? as it seems to be only happening on the back left side indicating (i think) that it's nothing to do with handbrake tension etc.. going to jack her up and have a look c, i made sure the pads were aligned correctly.

Thanks lads, nd lasses

Sounds a bit like one of the pistons in the caliber could be sticking.. Like seb suggested I'd start by giving it a good clean..

then maybe look into a refurb kit..
