Nice improvement Kev, they look purposeful but subtle!

Thanks! I decided I'd try putting Federals on there after, 235/40/17, and see what they're like. They look mad wide!

Nice look Kev - looks almost stock but in a good way - blends in well - should have been the wheels the FTO came with in the first place.

Let me us know how you get on with the federals - As mentioned previously I ran a set of Federal Super Steels before and found them to be quite good - what are your first impressions??

I've been reserving judgement on the Federals so far, 'cos with my lowering and new shocks and all the alignment was all over the place. I forgot to bring the camber bolts down with me the first time I went to get it sorted so it took a second trip.

She's sorted now though, steering lighter, handles nicely again!

Just comparing ride comfort, it is down a little from my 205/50/16s on standard springs, but not dramatically.

I should get to know them pretty well in the next few days though, up to Belfast tomorrow, gallivanting around the area, and coming back down on Sunday.

Definate a big improvent over the original wheels and they not take away from the lines of the car.

Did ya get them locally ?

are you running 235 on the front as well ?

Got them from the Mitsi Lancer Register, see the club shop. £117.50 each or if you pay the £30 membership they're £76.50 each. They come from somewhere in Brighton iirc.

There's often old sets in the for sale forum there too though, with tyres.

yup, 235 on the front too. There is slight rubbing on the left at full lock but I think my lining might be a little loose, I'll check in the morning.
