ifs sensor?

Postby lewisdale » Sat Feb 06, 2010 7:02 pm

hey fellas, some advice needed please, my rev counter doesnt work, i have replaced it with another, checked all the plugs and connections on the back of it as they are quite frankly crap, its all screwed up tight to the plugs, ive cleaned the ifs sensor plug and it still doesnt work,
so am i right in thinking that the only thing it now could be realistically is the ifs sensor?

There could be other reasons, the rev counter on my blue FTO didn't work, replacing the counter and IFS didn't resolve it.
Never got it fixed, just telling you a new IFS mightn't work.
They're quite easy to swap if you know anyone nearby with another FTO.
