Automatic transmission fluid change

Hi guys,
Since i bought my tiptronic GR i made about 20000km,now i feel the car...hmmm...how can i explain it...sloppy...
I did a search about maintenance tips,and i saw that you need to change the ATF about 20000 kms,so maybe is a good time for changing it(of course,i made oil changes and filter regularly).
But then,i read more,and i find that if the fluid has been never changed,its better to not change it.Since this is an used car i dont know if the fluid has been changed or not,so i dont know what i can do.
Do you guys recommend me to change the fluid? These days the car is like changing the gears so slow,and sometimes i cant put it into 4th gear using manual mode.

Can't see how not changing the fluid is a good thing! Where did you see that? Thats poor advice to be giving someone if you ask me.

Change the oil and filter, especially if the gears are running a bit strange, it badly needs to be changed at this stage I would imagine.

There are lots of japanese car maintenance sites saying that.
I dont know why...
Also they say that you have to change it ever 20000 km...

Changing it every 20000 I'd understand, thats ok. But if they say that and then they say if it hasnt been changed at all not to change they're contradicting themselves. The longer you leave it the worse its going to get. I'd go ahead and change it if I were you.
