New disks

Postby soc » Sat Dec 17, 2005 2:32 pm

When the wheels were off to get the new tyres fitted I was amazed at the lip on the brake disks so I ordered some new ones - took the opportunity to get some drilled disks and padgid pads.... went for zimmerman disks - good price - £70 for 2 - hope they don't crack

soc,

Where you get them for that price? I'm looking for a set of disks myself, I have a load of new pads waiting to go on so would like something that would not require a change in the calipers.

I got them from gsfcarparts.com but they only do french, german and swedish cars.

Fitted these at the weekend - dunno about having drilled disks but once again I'm pleasantly suprised at how good the pads are - nicely bedded in now and there is so much more initial bite - very confidence inspiring.
