Booth Failer!

Postby Marie » Thu Sep 27, 2007 4:30 pm

Hey Guy's this is a small problem compared to my usual one's more cosmettic than anything, also quite annoying! the spring in my booth is gone? Basically when you open the booth if you don't keep hold of it, it closes on your head U've to hold it open! Can it be fixed?

Ah the gas-struts are nothing to worry about.. Not too dear and I recon they're fairly simple to replace as well..

Took a corner at approx 3g the other morning..good job my warning light flashed on.. ;-)

Pretty advanced for a 13 year old car. i didn't realise mine had the warning light until I really started giving the car loads!

Muad, Do you have any of the special fluid for the sensor left.
Perhaps I could tap some off you at the show???

I don't mean to be smart Marie, but did you not even open the boot of the car before you bought it ?

This is a small problem but a very obvious and annoying one - very hard to miss this upon a basic inspection

I had a machanic check it over! Noticed the booth alright but the previous owner said it was just the spring gone in it, I'm beginning to think that the machanic may have got a back hander to say the car was perfect! The only thing the mechanic had to say was the passenger rear wheel the bearn's were going in it? But that never showed up n the NCT!

I'll pick up a bottle before I head over...any pref. brand?
I currently use "finest from the underground", but I've heard lidl do some extra mineralised 2l bottles for less than 50c!!!!!!
