Could you let me know the name of the company you got your supports from again,I know you said they were listed on this site but I couldn't find them

You can get both front and rear braces sent over for NZ$361 (all inc.) or €189, well worth the money if you like hard cornering ;)

Ive read that strut braces can cause the car to slide more in the wet because its so much stiffer? anyone any experience of this?

Nah it won't do that unless incorrectly fitted, i put them on mine and it was one of the best things i did it improved already great handeling car alot. if it does cause you to slide the problem is that the adjustment on them is too tight, causing pull on the strutts which inturn will mess up the gerometery (spell?) alingment-toe ect. causing it to run on the inside of the tire, this inturn causes wear and also less surface contact with the road, and in the wet the thread of the tire becomes useless as it isn't running on the road and this will be the sliding you have heard about
