I thought with the FTO the light's don't come into it? They can't be focused or something because the so low down? I dono something the NCT man said to me?

They can of course be focused (and tested), if you look at the lense there's 2 dots, one for each beam for focusing purposes. How low the car is doesn't come into it, if you were on the ground shining your light straight into the oncoming driver's faces its a problem.
Don't suppose yours was failing on the lights but there was some eyelid battering going on?
