Aerial button pins

Postby kevinod » Mon Jul 11, 2005 11:29 pm

Hi,

anyone happen to know offhand what the pins on the aerial button are?

The button I mean is behind the steering wheel on the left hand side, right hand side corresponding button is the foglight button.

Thinking of fitting one of those instead of my rain sensor on/off switch, make it look that bit tidier. The switch is a basic straight forward on/off, 2 wires in. I'd need to know if there are 2 pins on the aerial button that would do the same thing?

Kev, get a copy of the electrical wiring manual from the downloads page, this circuit is listed. Its not a simple on/off switch but you may be able to use one of the pairs to complete this function. Get your multimeter out and check for impedence and voltage levels!
