Most likely the inards of the fog light switch has melted if bulbs and fuses are OK, common problem on the FTO. Prise the switch off the dash and take a look. Replacement can be got from the usual suspects....

Either that or the plug has simply become detatched at the rear of the switch.

Don't mean to rob your post ftolam13 but while were on the subject of lights. My aftermarket dials stopped working the needle moves alright but they don't light up.One of my spot lights and one of my fog light bulbs are gone.I checked all fuses ok and checked was there power going and coming from the gauges with a multimeter and thats ok.Do you think the blown bulbs would have an effect on them ?

I doubt the blown bulbs would affect them - they connect through an inverter - I'd say it's quite likely that it has burnt out. If possible try and messure voltage at a piont in the wireing between the dials..you will need to do some disassembly to get at it..
