Has your FTO got coilover suspension?

Postby CJ » Fri Sep 25, 2009 8:17 pm

If so what brand and model? How does the car ride in terms of comfort compared to stock and/or lowering springs only? I'm particularly interested to hear from anyone with Tein Super Streets fitted.

That'd be me.
The car's pretty hard alright, add two struts and a H brace into the mix and you get the idea.
On a good road it's a fantastic setup, it's just a matter of finding one.

You're welcome to take her for a spin sometime.

Bernard, harder than standard shocks with lowering springs? How much have you dropped the springs and what damping settings are you using F/R?

I think so, yes.
I haven't made any height adjustments from when I bought it, she's pretty low though Image

From talking to the previous owner, to notice any real difference in damping you'd have to go from one extreme to the other.
If you're thinking of going for a similar setup let me know and we can sort out a test drive
