Garage on the N11 just before bray. Had a gpvr spoiler, spoke to the guy tom, said the car could be coming up for sale soon. Told him about the site. Said it was gpx, manual too, steel silver, had nice alloys.

Was this jim rock motors? Did he say when the car would be up for sale? Any chance you had a look at it at all - if so what kind of condition?

no, wasn't jim rock motors, the guy was just getting petrol, I only seen it from a distance but the body work seemed fine. Think there was 18" wheels on it. You interested in buying the car? I got his number as he said he was selling the car but I think it will be out of my price range.....let me know if your interested.

I might be tempted to have a look alright - could you pm me his number cause I might give him a ring and spin out to see the car.

Aye, I think I could make a case for a 00 FTO assuming it's in excellent condition. This morning I followed a champagne silver 1997 face-lift GPX (tiptronic) which is lowered on 18's with a mongoose exhaust and some nice interior changes - it sounded so sweet when he was pulling away in traffice and looked amazing (as usual)... the longing is always there :cry:
